So, I've given up and decided to blog. No, I don't have time. No, I am not naturally funny. Yes, there will be lame attempts at humor, because my life itself requires a sense of it.
There's so much going on right now that I don't even know where to start. Hmmm... we're moving to Washington... my kid doesn't sleep... I'm having a yard sale Saturday and Sunday... we're going with friends to Craters of the Moon on Friday... we had to put Merlin to sleep last Friday night... my parents are coming to visit (I think because they're concerned that I'm about to go off the deep end, which is quite plausible)... and my husband threw up all evening. It's been fun.
On a lighter note, I have recent proof that God exists and loves us. After asking for a Wii for years (okay, months), Kate won a Wii Fit in a drawing last week. When we went in to pick it up, thinking we would just hold onto it until money grows on trees and we could buy the actual Wii to use it with, the lady asked if we had one, and when we said no, proceeded to let us know they would get us one! Yesterday, Kate became the proud owner of a Wii. Unbelievable.
I'm too tired and lazy to post pics tonight. Maybe some other day. Write a comment and welcome me to this silly blogging thing, or else I'll give up and do something more productive with my time. However, I do much prefer this to cleaning toilets.

Wow, I hope the Wii Gods smile upon us that way. I get harrassed daily by the kids about when are we going to get a Wii, and we are the only people on the planet who don't have a Wii, and we're bored because we don't have a Wii, and we can't stop fighting with each other every single friggin' minute of every single friggin' day because we don't have a Wii, and can we please please please get a Wii.
ReplyDeleteYou get the picture. Have fun with yours!
You have crossed over to the dark side in which we all now compare ourselves to the hilariously witty Melyssa and wish deeply that we had the skill and humor to write like her. Good Luck with this, maybe you will be as good as I am about it, every month or two..... LOVE YOU!
